Elections Are Not Enough: How Revolutionaries Can Intervene and Support the Struggles in Front of Us

Marc Lispi, Jose Flores, Kyle Persy, Katherine Jones

Facing an onslaught of attacks — from ICE terror and genocide to cuts to hospitals, transit, education, ecological destruction, and more — depending on elections to confront these problems is a dead end. The resistance in Minneapolis and other cities to ICE terror has demonstrated that we cannot wait for elections — we must build up our forces to resist now. Many of the attacks from this administration are showing up right in front of us in our cities — in our workplaces, our schools, our neighborhoods. And revolutionaries must work alongside others to stand up in the face of these attacks. Hear about struggles in health care, against ICE in Dublin, efforts to block the coal terminal in West Oakland, and organizing to resist transit funding cuts.
