Uncovering the Erased Histories of Activism and Solidarities

Enrique C. Ochoa, Gilda L. Ochoa

Presenters will discuss their recent and forthcoming books that address coalition building, solidarity, and resistance since the late 20th century to the present. Particular emphasis will be placed on the use of history, including oral histories and multiple forms of archival research, to challenge exclusionary narratives and reframe our understanding of social movements and revolutionary struggles. Session will include a collective discussion of how others can engage in this research and tie it to current struggles.
